Last week felt like it went…on…for…ever… Did anyone else feel that way?
If last week was slow, this week has zoomed past in a furious rush to make up for all that slowed down time. Sometimes I feel like it’s just one big time joke the universe is playing on us by putting us all in a time warp.
Every single day this week after teaching (including a full Saturday work day) has been, and is, filled with appointments, meetings, and friendly gatherings. I can barely keep up! This is my calendar for just Monday to Wednesday. Yikes.
I have only been able to slow down when my head finally hits the pillow and I pass out instantly, my brain finally shutting off from the day’s To Do list. It’s good to have jam-packed weeks though, right? On the plus side, at least my bed is more comfortable than the one from the home stay Rob and I did in northern Vietnam:
About that.
Since one of my workout obsessions right now is push ups, I wanted to share a push up filled workout with you guys. (Don’t all groan at once.)
I present to you, for your push up doing pleasure, Push Up Palooza. (Insert cheering sound bite here.)
I really like how the ten minute run breaks up the arm fatigue and gets your heart pumping before you head back for more push up burn. I tend to run that ten minutes as fast as I can. You also get more isolated leg action between each set of 14 in order to give your arms a quick break. Highly recommended. Enjoy those planks to push ups!
Reader Question: How is the pace of your week going?

This workout is hardcore! It’s like you compiled a list of all the exercises I despise! 😉 jk It does look killer, though!
It definitely is killer. I like it though since I don’t usually focus on my arms enough. At least there is some running involved!
I have a love-hate relationship with a super busy week (and pushups actually haha). It’s great to be busy with fun things like meeting up with friends and family, but somehow it can still be a little stressful to keep track of all of it! Looks like you have a handle on everything with that planner, don’t know what I’d do without mine!
I agree, it definitely can feel stressful. Do you ever feel guilty about that? I feel like I should love having busy weeks. Planners are serious life savers. I didn’t have one for a while after moving abroad, but I could last more than three months without one.
Hey! Just found your blog! :)This week is moving at snail pace for me.. 🙁
I’m gonna try that push up challenge. Push ups are thee best full-body workout, but I rarely get down and do them!
Thanks for the comment! I am sorry to hear that your week is moving so slow. Hopefully things pick up with the last two days. Push ups definitely take some serious motivation to do. I can’t even get down all the way!
Hi Brooke!
I was just thinking that I need to incorporate more weight training in my life. Maybe this workout is a good way to start? I’ll let you know if I make it out alive 🙂
Hi Holly. I am trying to find ways to add weight training as well. It’s a whole new world for me coming from long distance running. I hope you enjoy the workout!
I love pushups! I will try your palooza this weekend – I like the idea of adding a 10 minute run. Thanks for posting.
Thanks for swinging by, Gail. I hope you like the workout. The ten minute run definitely helps me break things up.
