Things have not slowed down since Rob and I left Minnesota and hit Colorado a week ago.

We finally saw Alaska! (We counted plates and got them all...including Hawaii!)

We have been living in a hotel while we look for an apartment in Denver, which means a lot of meals that look like this:

On Saturday, we decided we needed a break from the excessive apartment hunting and headed off to the mountains.

We took our time on the 7 mile hike, gaining about 1,700 in elevation over 3 1/2 miles (10,200 to 12,000). It was gorgeous, challenging, and the reason we have always wanted to move here.

We have finally found an apartment like enough to stay for a while, so hopefully we get to move in soon. I am dying for a kitchen!
