Things have not slowed down since Rob and I left Minnesota and hit Colorado a week ago.
We have been living in a hotel while we look for an apartment in Denver, which means a lot of meals that look like this:
Followed by this: (we bought a variety box of 4 for Rob’s birthday)
On Saturday, we decided we needed a break from the excessive apartment hunting and headed off to the mountains.
We took our time on the 7 mile hike, gaining about 1,700 in elevation over 3 1/2 miles (10,200 to 12,000). It was gorgeous, challenging, and the reason we have always wanted to move here.
Workout Recap

Yay for finding an apartment!!!!
What a beautiful view!!!!
Best wishes for moving and unpacking!!!
It hasn’t been easy, that’s for sure. I also haven’t forgotten about your promo. Things should start to slow down this weekend.
No problem Brooke! You have a lot going on!! Can’t wait to hear about your new chapter in life!
I lived in a hotel for 2 weeks when I moved to Baltimore and didn’t have a place to live. It was fun at first but then it got annoying. Glad there’s a light at the end of the tunnel.
I like the free cable and internet, but the eating out all the time is getting to me.
Welcome to Colorado! It’s the best place in the world to live. I hope you get to move into an apartment soon…living in a hotel must be awful.
Thanks! Hotel living is definitely not my style. But the people watching is awesome.
That cupcake looks so good. The hike looks even better!!!
I hope you are having more luck with apartments!
I get super cranky on road trips, they’re so not my thing. I wish I had some advice or tips for you but I just try to get them through with all my relationships.friendships in tact. Haha!! I hope you guys find an apartment soon, decorating a new place is so much fun 🙂
Road trips are not for a weak relationship, that’s for sure.
