After my amazing weekend (you can read about it here and here), I arrived back in Denver late on Sunday night. Monday at work looked like this:
It took me until about Thursday to feel normal again. I figured I only had about 15 hours of sleep the entire weekend. As a result, my workouts felt a bit forced. I just wasn’t that into it.

Yes! It def. takes me a while to get back into a routine!
I have to work 10p – 6am tonight due to an install and I have no idea how I am going to get back on track even though it is only one over night shift! haha!!!!!
YAY for the wedding countdown!!!
How are you even going to stay up all night?!
I wondered if you got home exhausted after that incredible weekend.
I’ve noticed that if we have a super busy weekend and I don’t have a little down time on Monday, the whole week is a draggy one!
It’s amazing how much it effects us. I love my down time.
Don’t overdo it; you might end up too nearly unconscious to actually enjoy your wedding! 🙂
Hahaha. That would be terrible. Thanks for swinging by the blog! Glad to have you around.
It takes me about a week to get over multiple nights of minimal sleep, especially when travel is involved. Jet lag is no joke, even if it’s just a 2 or 3 hour difference.
Three weeks! I am so excited for you! October is a lovely time to get married. 🙂
It’s so soon! 2-3 hours really does make a difference. Surprisingly enough.
I usually take a day or two off of workouts and bank som extra sleep those days, then i’m right as rain.
Oh and i’ms super excited for you! I just got engaged so the idea of a wedding being so close has ny stomach in knots! you must be going crazy!
Congrats on your engagement!!!!! Yea, the wedding madness is…madness.
