It is really only Tuesday? I feel like this week has been going rather slow. Today especially seemed to drag. Anyone else feel that way?
The good news: I used my new food processor to make these bad boys today. Bring on the iron.
On a different note, I’ve been a little obsessed with sprint workouts on the treadmill lately. They allow me to get in some high intensity cardio, build up speed, increase stamina, and get a solid sweat on.
Only problem, most distance sprint workouts take a while and don’t leave room for lifting in the same day. Since I’m doing the 9000 in 90 Days Challenge, I try to get in some reps each day. This Sprint / Lift Combo Workout allows me to get in some sprints and a lift.
Don’t let it fool you, my legs were wobbly by the time I hit that one minute pick up!
RQ: How do you balance running and lifting? How long do your sprint workouts usually take you?

Wow-what a great workout. I usually lift after I am done running for the day and I always pick an easy run day. Good for you! And food processors are the best things ever.
I am just starting to experiment with the food processor. It saved me so much time last night!
Looks like a great way to combine the 2!! I love weight routines that involve cardio – so much more time effective!!!
Agreed! And way more sweaty.
I think I may have to try this!
You always post great work outs!
Thanks, Heather! It’s a tough one for sure.
