Phew! Do you ever have days at work that are nothing but meetings and when the day is over you wonder where the time went?
That was me today. My Monday absolutely flew, which I guess isn’t a bad thing.
Workout Recap
I am pretty happy with workouts from this week, even if it was more hiking and temple exploring. It felt like I was on the move a lot, which I love.
Monday – Estimated 5 miles walking around Cambodia’s temples
Tuesday – 2 mile hike in Cambodian Jungle, about 3 miles around temples
Wednesday – Off
Thursday – Butt Back in Gear 1,000 (at home)
Friday – Off
Saturday – 5 min treadmill run (.83 k) run, biceps and triceps
Sunday – 20 min treadmill run (3.32 k), 6-Minute Bikini Body Challenge finish
Book Club Pick
The May book club choice is The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams.
I remember trying to watch the movie once way back when and couldn’t get into it. Hopefully the book will be different. We will be reviewing the book on the blog on May 29.

My work outs were okay this week! I did get a 12 miler in though! Half marathon here I come!
Also….! I thought you were married! I thought I read somewhere on your blog that you and significant other were married! I guess I shouldn’t assume things! 🙂
Awesome job on the 12 miler. You are going to rock the half. No, we’re not married yet, but everyone in Vietnam calls us husband and wife for cultural reasons, so we just go with it.
Hi Brooke, yes, busy week here but determined to get the workouts scheduled! I’m interviewing for student commencement speakers – which is always fun!
What a cool thing to do. How many do you have to interview?
We have 7. They are so nervous but usually very inspirational. I love hearing their speeches about what college has meant to them and their families. Hmm, I see a blog post topic!! Have a good day.
That would be a lot of fun to listen to. Enjoy!
I’m impressed with your workouts, Brooke, and that’s a great photo. I’ve been moving around more as I try to get the house clean. 😉
Well, if Pinhole has to lose out to any book, I’m glad it’s that one.
Wow. I am honored that you stopped by the blog. Honestly, I have been thinking about the concept of Pinhole since I posted the choices for the month and am planning to get the kindle edition this week. It is a really interesting concept and I am curious as to how you connected all those lives.
It’s a cool blog. You shouldn’t be all that surprised. Mine gets, what, 15 hits a day?
And you’ve GOT to read Hitchhiker’s first. And Restaurant at the End of the Universe. I’d skip the rest of his novels, though. They get… Depressing.
If you’re going to post a review of Pinhole, btw, I’m happy to send you a free .mobi file. Save you the 99 cents…
I would be more than happy to review Pinhole on the blog. Absolutely!
