Remember how I ran in 60 degree weather this weekend? Well, today it’s snowing. Hard. I’ve said it before, but I have to say it again. This is the best way to do winter: with bright, warm, sunny days thrown in the mix enough so you don’t go crazy in the cold and dreary.
Let’s talk Super Bowl! Honestly, I plan to indulge a bit on Super Bowl Sunday. My Pinterest recipe board is full of mostly nutritious eats, but also some just plain old delicious looking treats. I’m really justing waiting for an excuse to make some of them and the Super Bowl seems like a perfect time.
Here are four things I’ve been itching to make for a while now:
If you’re one of those who needs an excuse to indulge, there are a ton of Super Bowl Sunday morning races happening. Sign up for one, or just make sure you sweat it out at the gym before you sweat it out during game time.
I think it’s perfectly acceptable to let yourself have a bite of that delicious appetizer, or a taste of that drool-worthy dessert. It doesn’t mean you have to eat the biggest slice, all the dip, or feel insanely guilty. Enjoy the day. Enjoy the treats. Enjoy the game. Eat clean again on Monday.
RQ: Do you plan to indulge a bit on Super Bowl Sunday? Do you indulge ever, or do you have more willpower than I do?

Yum! We are having a Chinese New Year/Super Bowl pot luck at work on Friday. Strange combo, but maybe those SW egg-rolls would be perfect. Now if I can only get the time to go and do them…
What a cool idea. Great way to ring in the year of the horse!
I definitely enjoy my indulgences! I actually won’t be watching the game. I know, I’m a terrible coloradoan. But my MIL got all the girls in the family tickets to Mama Mia at the Buell, so that’s where I’ll be.
Mamma Mia is awesome! Have fun!
I haven’t even started picking out stuff to make Sunday – better get on that!
It’s a tough decision to make.
I love Superbowl and all the food!! I will definitely be participating in the eats but remembering that moderation is key and that Monday is always a new day!
Exactly!
Oh all of these look so delicious!! Especially the pesto poppers…I love love love pesto 🙂
meeee toooo.
