My workouts were pretty good this week. Even though I would like to workout 5-6 times a week, it just doesn’t seem to happen. I’ll take 4 though because at least I made it there. Sometimes that is half the battle.

On the “Off” days I didn’t make it to the gym, but I was still completing the 6-Minute Bikini Body Challenge for that day.

Monday – 10:00 run (2.0 k), Combination Sensation (coming soon!)
Tuesday – Off
Wednesday – 5:00 warm up (.81 k), ARMageddon
Thursday – Off
Friday – Off
Saturday – Full body circuit
Sunday – 35:00 cardio (15 run, 15 elliptical, 5 bike)

I have finally decided to focus more on lifting and conditioning versus running. As much as I love long distance runs, there is really no point to do them here because of the lack of races and running community. The lifting is actually a lot of fun and I feel like my in-shape-ness (it’s totally a word) lasts longer.

Post lift proof I was there.

Post lift proof I was there.

Workout Challenge

Since I am doing the 6-Minute Bikini Body Challenge for April, there is no weekly challenge this week. Instead, it’s just to keep up with the month of April.

I have to say I am really enjoying the month-long challenge and am contemplating doing one for May. With things being a little unsure around here lately, the quick day-to-day moves are fitting into my schedule better than a long list of reps.

RQ: What do you prefer, daily, weekly, or monthly goals/challenges?
