It feels unreal that another week has just flown by! The last three weeks have felt that way to me. By the time I look up, it’s Thursday night and weekend plans are on the brain.
I’ve felt vaguely nauseous for the past few days, so I opted to take today off from the gym. If some sort of illness is brewing, I don’t want it to take me down. The time was perfect since today started like this:
My commute includes about one mile of uphill driving that was very slow going today. Since I bought my current car from my parents in the summer, I wasn’t sure about it’s 4-wheel drive. I looked all over for the button in case I needed to switch it over, but couldn’t find it.
Good thing I have Rob. I texted him when I got to work (without mishap). The drawing cracked me up! It was also super helpful.
Well, if you’re going to hide it…In my defense, the 4-wheel drive switch over on my Ford, said “4 wheel”.

Yes, take more rest days if you feel sick!
Here’s my head-slap car moment: When we were on vacation once in a rental car, J and I somehow turned on the hazard lights…and then couldn’t figure out how to turn them off. This was, of course, while we were driving down a busy freeway. 30 minutes and a big, stupid fight later, we found it. In the middle of the dashboard. Doh.
That is horrible and hilarious as the same time.
Ugh – hope you feel better soon!!
I usually get up and start my workout – sometimes I end up feeling fine and every once in awhile I get in a few minutes and realize that it’s not going to happen!!!
Feel better soon!
NY received snow last night….here is to winter training 🙂
