Thank you for putting up with my semi-rant yesterday. I am still slightly reeling from my thoughts surrounding all this and I appreciate the blog world being an outlet to explore those.
Moving on to lighter topics.
Even though our wedding was two months ago (!), I wanted to share a fun idea with you all. Margot, my younger sister and Maid of Honor, surprised me at the start of the weekend with a Wedding Survival Kit.
Knowing that I was a bit nervous about everything going smoothly, Margot created this box as my go-to in case of a weekend emergency. It was so incredibly thoughtful of her and the puffy paint work must have taken quite some time!
Each side has quote about love.
The inside was filled with all sorts of goodies.
More than one part of the survival kit came in handy over the 4 days of party. With the chocolate devoured and the alcohol enjoyed, it is now serving as my storage bin for all our wedding cards, invites, receipts, and other miscellaneous wedding items that I don’t want to lose.
It was so thoughtful of Margot to put this together and seriously appreciated.
RQ: Did/Do you feel a need for a survival kit at your wedding? Did your bridesmaids/MOH do anything to surprise you?

What a sweet idea!!!
I have tried to do something similar in a vanity at our venue – I know there are always those last minute needs when you get ready for a wedding. Maybe I will add a little snack box, too.
I love it! I need a pre-ceremony survival kit! Two weeks to go! I can do it!
What a sweet idea! I am coming up with so many ideas for my friend’s wedding 🙂
